Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Tower Enterprise Inc is a 3D manufacturing company in San Jose, California. TE Racing Products is one of our product lines. We run this website, www.towerenterpriseinc.com, and we are the business responsible for the information described here. Privacy questions go to shon@towerenterpriseinc.com.

2. The short version

We collect what we need to answer your message, build your order and get it to your door. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not send marketing email. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us.

3. What we collect and why

When you buy something

Checkout is handled by Stripe on Stripe's own secure pages. To complete an order Stripe collects, and shares with us, your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, the build you chose (stand, scale, base and accent colors) and any note you add to the order. Your card number is entered on Stripe's page and is stored and processed by Stripe only; we never see or store it. We use this information to build your stand, charge the right sales tax for your address, ship the order, send you an order confirmation and handle returns or problems.

When you send us a message or an order request

The contact form and the order request form ask for your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, shipping ZIP or address, and your message or build details. We use this to reply to you and, if you asked for one, to prepare a quote. The forms include a hidden field that only automated spam tools fill in; real visitors never see it and nothing from it is kept.

When you browse

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: the IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of each request. We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used in aggregate: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are from, and what device they use. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell returning visits apart. We do not use this data to identify you personally and we do not run advertising or retargeting on it.

4. Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets its usual measurement cookies (_ga and _ga_*). Stripe sets cookies on its checkout pages for fraud prevention and to keep your checkout session working. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them, although Stripe may not be able to complete a payment if its fraud-prevention cookies are blocked.

5. Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that make the site and the orders work, and only what each one needs:

• Stripe processes payments, calculates sales tax and screens for fraud. Stripe's own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy applies to what you enter on its pages.
• Google (Google Workspace and Google Analytics). Our email, our order records and form submissions are stored in Google Workspace, and site usage is measured by Google Analytics.
• USPS and other carriers receive your name, address and phone number to deliver the parcel.
• GoDaddy hosts this website and keeps the server logs described above.
• Our bookkeeper or accountant may see order records as needed to keep the books and file taxes.

We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. We will disclose information if the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

6. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as we need them to support the product, handle returns and meet tax and accounting requirements, generally seven years. Contact and order request submissions are kept while we are talking with you and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back. Analytics data is retained on Google's standard schedule. Stripe keeps transaction records under its own policies.

7. How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe, which is certified to the PCI DSS standard. Order and form data is stored in Google Workspace accounts protected by two-step verification, and access is limited to the people who need it to run the business. No system is perfectly secure, so if you believe your information has been exposed, email us and we will look into it straight away.

8. Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can email us to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, except where we need to keep a record to complete an order, process a return or meet a legal obligation. We will confirm your request within 10 business days and answer it within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete and correct, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you can still exercise your other rights by emailing shon@towerenterpriseinc.com. You may also authorize someone to make a request for you; we will ask for enough information to confirm it is really you before we act on it.

To stop Google Analytics measuring your visits anywhere, you can install Google's browser opt-out add-on.

9. Do Not Track and opt-out signals

Because we do not sell or share personal information or track you across other sites, this site does not change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Google Analytics applies its own handling of these signals.

10. Email from us

We send email about your order or your message: confirmations, shipping updates, replies and questions about a build. We do not send newsletters or promotional email and we will not add you to a mailing list without asking first.

11. Children

This site sells to adults. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

12. Outside the United States

We ship within the United States only, and the services we use store information in the United States. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be handled in the United States under this policy.

13. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of the page. If a change is significant, we will also say so on this page for a period after it takes effect. The version in force is the one published here.
