What shipping costs
One flat rate per region, added at checkout. This is what you pay, and it covers the whole order whether you buy one stand or the stand plus a kit.

Why a light stand costs this much to ship
A folded TE Racing stand does not weigh much. The box does not care. Every stand ships in a 24 by 12 by 8 inch carton, which works out to 2,304 cubic inches.
Dimensional weight, in one paragraph
USPS applies dimensional weight to any parcel over 1,728 cubic inches, which is one cubic foot. Above that line they divide the cubic volume by 139 and bill you on that number instead of what the scale says. 2,304 divided by 139 is 17 pounds, so this box is a 17 pound parcel in the eyes of USPS whether it holds a single or a triple.
Then distance does the rest
A 17 pound Ground Advantage parcel leaving ZIP 95127 costs roughly $22 to a nearby zone and north of $55 to the far side of the country. That spread is why we run four regional rates instead of one national number: a single flat rate high enough to cover Maine would overcharge every buyer in California by about thirty dollars.
What we are not doing
We are not adding a handling fee on top, and we are not quietly building shipping into the product price and calling it free. The stand price is the stand. The shipping line is what USPS charges to move the box.

Email within 14 days
Write to shon@towerenterpriseinc.com within 14 days of delivery and tell us what is wrong. Returns start with that email.
We reply with instructions
We confirm the return, give you the address, and tell you how to pack it so it survives the trip back.
You ship it back
Returns go by mail and the return shipping is on you. Use tracking, because we can only refund what arrives.
We refund the stand
Once it is back with us in resaleable condition we refund the price of the stand to your original payment method.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is a flat rate by region, added at checkout: $24 to the US West, $39 to the Central and Southern states, $59 to the East, and $75 to Alaska and Hawaii. Upgrade kits ship in a smaller parcel at a flat $9 anywhere in the United States. The rate you see at checkout is the rate you pay, there is no second invoice afterwards.
Why is shipping to the East Coast more than shipping within California?
Because USPS prices by distance and by size. Every stand ships in a 24 by 12 by 8 inch box, which is 2,304 cubic inches. That is over the USPS dimensional weight threshold, so the box bills as a 17 pound parcel no matter how light the stand actually is. A 17 pound parcel from San Jose to Maine costs USPS roughly two and a half times what the same parcel costs to Sacramento, and we pass through what it costs rather than padding the near zones to hide it.
How long until my stand ships?
Every stand is built to order and takes 3 to 7 business days before it ships. USPS Ground Advantage then takes 2 to 6 business days in transit. If you need it by a specific race weekend, email us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether that is possible.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Not through the checkout on this site. Every rate here is domestic USPS from San Jose, California. If you are outside the United States, email shon@towerenterpriseinc.com with your address before ordering and we will tell you whether we can do it and what it costs.
Can I return a stand?
Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to start a return. Email shon@towerenterpriseinc.com within those 14 days and we will walk you through it. Returns go back by mail and you pay the return shipping. Once we have the stand back in resaleable condition we refund the price of the stand.
What if my stand arrives damaged or a part is wrong?
That is not a return, that is our problem to fix. Email shon@towerenterpriseinc.com with a photo and we will reprint whatever is wrong and send it out. Because we print every part ourselves we can usually replace a single shelf, sleeve or rail rather than the whole stand.
